I've been working a ton of overtime since I got my job out here, so I went out and bought myself a new toy. 1986 Honda VFR700F I've wanted a bike for awhile now, and figured it's time since I live in a place that I can ride year round, minus a couple of weeks in July when it's 115* plus.

I assume your making a sh!tload of money, or you must be in debt up to your ass, seeing as you yourself have 2 newer vehicles that arent cheap, and I saw the pics of your house you have. Just curious, how does the cost of living compare to how it was in Auburn?

I'm making a respectable salary, and my girlfriend is making double of what I am, so therefore we are living a bit comfortably. The cost of living here is very comparable to Auburn, and a hell of a lot nicer. The real estate market is a bit crazy and over priced in a lot of areas, but it all depends on where you want to live. We're only renting our house right now and got a great deal on our lease. Only $1150/month for a 3 bedroom house ~1500 square feet. And I bought the bike from a friend, so also another great deal.
